Meet the Band - Back Row
An essential part of any band is the "back row" cornet section. Here are Chris and Simon, both regulars with the band. Simon joined the band in 2002, and has recently moved onto the front row. Along with his school bands, he also plays trumpet with the Northants County Music Service's Jazz 2 band, the County Training Orchestra, and the County Training Wind Orchestra. Simon also plays back row cornet with Foresters Brass 2000, a local 2nd section band (2nd section champions in 2006!), and front row cornet with the local youth band, Youth Brass 2000.
